Moldovan Democrats to operate reshuffling among state secretaries
Chisinau, 18 September /MOLDPRES/- In the coming weeks, the work of state secretaries will be assessed, and in some areas reshuffle operations will be carried out. PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc made the statement today.
In some areas there are problems raised by ministers and citizens. “Soon, there will be talks on the government platform, and if any changes should be made, they need to be made for the Executive to have maximum efficiency,” he said.
Plahotniuc said that Prime Minister Pavel Filip and the cabinet will have support from the PDM.
Also, the PDM leadership announced that two ministers in the current government will be changed. Thus, Silvia Radu will take over the leadership of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, and Nicolae Ciubuc on the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment.
Silvia Radu is a professional jurist and philologist, and started work in the energy sector in 1995. Subsequently, in 2008-2015, she led Gas Natural Fenosa company. From November 2017 to April 2018, she served as interim mayor of the capital.
Nicolae Ciubuc is currently Director of the Agency for Intervention and Payment for Agriculture. He holds the post since September 2016.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip said that former ministers Svetlana Cebotari and Liviu Volconovici, who were appointed on 10 January 2018, will return to their previous positions, namely the director of the National Blood Transfusion Centre and the rector of Agrarian University of Moldova.
