Moldovan president awards Order of Honour to former high-ranking EU official
Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has awarded the Order of Honour to the former High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
Under the document, the order was awarded to the former high-ranking EU official for the consistent support of Moldova’s European integration way and his efforts of consolidation of the national security, as well as for the promotion of Moldova’s interests at the European institutions.
Josep Borrell is a Spanish politician, who in the last years has held more offices within European structures, among which the one of European Parliament president.
