National Army servicemen took part in a multinational exercise Defence Cyber Marvel 2026 on 9–13 February, together with over 2,500 representatives from 29 countries.

According to the Ministry of Defence, during the exercise the Moldovan team operated together with service members from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and representatives of the Cyber Security Agency. The participants were tasked with detecting, analyzing, and countering simulated cyberattacks, managing incidents in real time based on complex scenarios.

The exercise aimed to strengthen interoperability with international partners, enhance the capacity to respond to threats in cyberspace, and increase the cyber resilience of the National Army.

Moldovan soldiers are participating for the second consecutive year in this exercise, an activity that is part of the process of developing cyber defence capabilities and adapting to new security risks.
