Chisinau, June 6 / MOLDPRES /- No village without a concert is the motto of a project initiated by the Drochia district authorities. He arrived in the village of Sofia yesterday, where several important events for the town took place.
"The event started with a historic moment for the Sofians, the signing of the Association and Twinning Agreement for the village of Sofia, Drochia district, and the village of Sofia from Hânceşti district. The document was signed by the mayors of the localities, the delegation from Hânceşti being accompanied by a group of local councilors and an ensemble of dance and folk song ”, according to the Drochia Culture Department.
The organizers mentioned the importance of these concerts, "soul meetings and beautiful partnerships in order to revitalize, capitalize and promote the intangible cultural heritage of Drochia district."
Sofia's agenda included exhibitions of traditional dishes, birds and animals, fairs of local producers, an artistic program supported by well-known groups in the region.
"The cultural project will continue its journey through the villages of the district", summarizes a communiqué of the Direction for culture from Drochia.
