
Moldovan president visits Țipala, Răzeni, Cărbuna villages
Chisinau, 26 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu visited the villages of Țipala, Răzeni and Cărbuna, Ialoveni district, and discussed with several hundred people about how the localities are developing and what it means for them to bring the European Union home, the presidential press service has reported.
"In Tipala, the residents were happy to be able to gather again at the House of Culture, renovated through the European Village program. With the people of Răzeni, I discussed the importance of continuing investments in projects that modernize the locality, such as the thermal insulation of the high school and the renovation of the town hall, under the work process," the president said.
The head of state had a warm meeting with the people of Cărbuna and appreciated the residents' efforts in the implementation of the projects: "I was happy to discover a strong community, which joined efforts with Moldovans from the diaspora, the central and local administration to ensure lighting the locality by installing a photovoltaic park".
Maia Sandu said: "Our commitment is to ensure better living conditions in every locality, so that our villages and cities look like in the European Union, and people feel good at home."
