Mayor’s elections to take place in commune in southern district of Moldova
Chisinau, 12 September /MOLDPRES/ – The new local elections of the mayor of Zarnesti commune, Cahul district, will be held on 19 November 2017, according to a decision approved by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today.
According to the Central Election Commission’s (CEC) press service, the mandate of the elected mayor have ceased in terms for his resignation.
Previously, the CEC established new mayoral elections in nine other localities: Fundurii Noi village (Glodeni district), communes of Stefanesti (Floresti district), Plopi (Cantemir district), Sarateni (Leova district), Ghiliceni (Telenesti district), Lăpuşna (Hincesti district), Berlinti (Briceni district), Sangera town (Chisinau municipality) and Capriana village (Straseni district).
